Matt was raised in Petersburg, where he graduated from high school. He attended South Plains College and Texas Tech University before graduating from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service. He began his funeral profession career in Lubbock while attending college and has been in the Tulia/Plainview area since the summer of 1999.
He is married to Jenifer, a registered dietitian for WIC (Women, Infants, and Children), where she serves as a director for a 10-county area. She grew up in Whitehouse, Texas, and later moved with her family to Denver City, where she graduated from high school. She went on to graduate from Texas Tech University and the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.
Matt and Jenifer have two children. Their daughter, Kamryn, attends the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, and their son, Mason, attends Baylor University in Waco. They enjoy traveling to visit their children and spending time outdoors.
Gabriel was raised in Plainview, where he graduated from Plainview High School. He attended DeVry Institute of Technology and Amarillo College before graduating from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service.
Gabriel and his wife, Ruth, have four children—Victoria, Rebeka, Gabriel, and Aaron—and seven grandchildren.
Braden was raised in Plainview, where he attended high school and began his journey in the funeral profession. He graduated from Texas Tech University in 2018 and then attended the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service, where he became a licensed embalmer, funeral director, and crematory operator.
After a few years of serving the Dallas community, Braden started at Kornerstone Funeral Directors in March of 2022. He is married to JT (Jontana), who is from Weatherford, TX, and serves the panhandle as a respiratory therapist. Braden and JT currently live in Plainview with their beloved dogs, Milo and Oliver.
Ricardo was raised in Hale Center where he graduated from Hale Center High School. After an initial introduction to the funeral profession in 2010, he spent the next 12 years building a successful career in furniture retail sales. In 2022, he returned to his passion for funeral service and began pursuing full licensure as a funeral director and embalmer. He graduated with honors from Northeast Texas Community College's Mortuary Science program in May of 2024.
Ricardo resides in Lubbock with his fiancée, Becky, a supervisor with Adult Protective Services (APS) and their three beloved dogs: Winston, Archer, and Cookie. In their free time, they enjoy traveling to the mountains of Ruidoso, New Mexico, exploring new wineries, watching movies and tv shows, and relaxing with couple’s massages.
Joshua Cruz currently serves as our crematory operator. He previously served in the 82nd Airborne Division.
In his free time, Josh enjoys spending time with his family, hanging out with his dog, and visiting the gun range.
His personal philosophy is: “I strive to give people the respect they deserve on their journey beyond.”
Andrea Schrader was raised in Lubbock and attended Lubbock Christian High School and Lubbock Christian University. She has a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education.
She is a devoted wife to her husband Jeff, who works for Betenbough Homes, and a proud mom to four children—Haley (Evan), Tanner (Aly), Hayden, and Tarren (Barrett). She’s also a loving grandmother to six grandchildren who bring her endless joy. Andrea treasures time spent with her family, whether it’s relaxing at the cabin, cheering on Oregon football, or enjoying a good concert. She loves staying active by walking, playing volleyball, playing pickleball, or chasing grandkids. For Andrea, life is all about God, family, and making memories together.
