William and Rosann Green

1953 ~ 2022 (age 68)

William Edward Green (Bill) - Wolfforth, Texas

Bill was born September 21, 1953 in Gando, Texas to Charles and Norma (Flagstaff) Green. He graduated from Uvalde High School in 1973 and then joined the United States Air Force, becoming a jet engine mechanic. These skills proved useful as he worked in maintenance of machinery for the rest of his working career. Bill was kind hearted and always willing to help

anyone in need. He loved to hunt waterfowl and fish for bass and tiger muskie every chance he had. While Bill had many hunting and fishing buddies he enjoyed spending time with, his favorite times in the blind or on the lake were spent with his son and three grandsons.

Rosann Marcia Green (Johnson) - Wolfforth, Texas

Rosann was born March 14, 1954 to Milton and Mabel (Rosander) Johnson in Renton, Washington. She graduated from Renton High School in 1972 and went on to earn an Environmental Horticulture degree from Bellevue Community College. This served her well as her love of gardening only grew over the years. Rosann loved getting her hands dirty. She also had a true servant's heart, was always helping others, and was often the first to wash dishes or clean after gatherings with friends and family. In her retirement years, Rosann spent time volunteering at the Senior Thrift Store in Ephrata where her love of books and organizing them was put to good use.

Bill and Rosann met and married in Washington State in 1975 while Bill was stationed with the Air Force. After his honorable discharge, they lived for a short time in Texas before returning to Washington state to have their one and only child, Amos. Bill and Rosann built their home and

raised Amos in Buckley, Washington. This home was cozy and always open to any and all who stopped by. Their shop was a second home for Amos and many of his friends as teenagers so there was always a vehicle or two being repaired or modified inside. When grandkids came along, there were many beloved sleepovers or weeklong summer stays at Grandpa and Grandma's. Bill and Rosann spent their first eleven years of retirement in Ephrata, Washington. They made many great friends and hunting buddies over on the best side of the state. Bill and Rosann happily and—with great anticipation for the future-spent their final months in the great state of Texas, joining their son, daughter in law, and two youngest grand

Bill was raised in the Church of Christ and Rosann as a Lutheran. In their later years, after a long time of not attending church, they worked hard to find a church that suited them both. They visited or watched online a couple hundred churches before settling into a Church of Christ in Levelland, Texas. Bill and Rosann's recommitted faith is a sweet consolation to their family that, as believers, we will see them again in heaven someday.

After being married for more than 46 years, Bill and Rosann passed away hand in hand on Saturday, January 15, 2022 with their son and daughter-in-law at their bedsides.

Preceded in death by all four of their parents and Bill's sister, Paula Blackburan and sister in law, Linda Green.

Survived by son Amos J Green (Becki) Grandchildren Douglas, Joseph, Ethan, and Cassidi. Bill's brother, David Green. Nephew's, Shannon David Green (Kelly), James Green (Sancy), and Paul Blackburan.
