William Joseph “Joe” Plowman, age 58 passed away November 6, 2020 in a local hospital. He was born to Francis Jeanelle and the late Edwin Lee Plowman on April 26, 1962 in the View Community of Abilene, Texas. Joe has now gone to be reunited with his beloved father Eddie in heaven.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 13, 2020 at 5 PM in the Drummond Cemetery in the View Community of Taylor County near Abilene, TX.
Joe was a graduate of Cooper High School in Abilene where he played tuba in the band. He attended Texas Tech and McMurry College where he proposed to his best friend, Patricia who became his wife of 36 years. Joe and Patricia made their home in Lubbock, Texas where they were members of First Christian Church.
Joe was a family man and devoted his life to them. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Patricia of Lubbock, son John-David Plowman and wife Anicia of Idalou, daughter Mary-Katherine Arias and husband Clinton of Lubbock, mother Jeanelle of Abilene, and brother Jeff and wife Kari of Austin. Grandchildren include Oliver and Emily Plowman and Calvin Arias.
