Travis Dean Castleberry

Travis Dean Castleberry, 90, born March 21, 1933, of Lubbock, Texas, passed away on June 1, 2023. Rejoice! He joins his parents Elmer and Daisy, his brother Laben Wesley, his son Rod, and his grandson Richard. He is survived by his wife Velton, his daughter Debbie, his daughter in-law Donna, and his grandchildren Kenda, Melissa, KJ, and Chris.

Travis "Pappy" Castleberry is also survived by his great grandchildren Anissa, her husband Kyle, and their child Norah; Aubre, her husband Derek, and their children Cannon and Levi; Ryan, his wife Laci and their child Hadley; Addyson Pollard; Braxton Moore; Gracie Moore; Kaylea Moore; and Jaye Castleberry.

Travis was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, serving as the touchstone of love and faith for his family. He was devoted to his wife Velton, and had many dear friends over a life filled with struggles and triumphs. He will forever be the voice preaching wisdom when we need it and he will be missed more than words can express.

Travis' celebration of life will be Friday June 9th at Southcrest Church 10:30 am.
