Teddy Roberson

Teddy Wayne Roberson, age 84, passed away March 24th, 2022, in Lubbock, Texas, where he and Evelyn resided since 1970. He was born October 5th, 1937, in Three Rivers, Texas to William Allen and Johnnie Elizabeth (Howard) Roberson. He attended Odessa College and Texas Tech University and served in the Army reserves for 18 ½ years. He spent most of his time working as a Journeyman Electrician and most recently worked for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice as a Correctional Officer.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Nora Virginia Roberson; sister, Mary Ryan; sister Leta Pruitt; and sister, Evelyn Smith.

He is survived by his wife of 60 yrs., Evelyn Irene (Ringo) Roberson; daughters, Angela Traver and Susan Beard of Lubbock, Texas; brother, Clifton Roberson of Midland; sisters Francis McFarland of San Angelo, Wynell Mitchell of Midland, Wynell Mitchell of Midland, Roberta Phillips of Iowa Park, and Glenda Coker of Iowa Park; five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

Arrangements were made by Agape Funeral Chapel and Southcrest Baptist Church.
