Sherri Temple

It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of Sherri Temple, 68, of Lubbock, TX on Tuesday, April 5th.  Please join us in celebrating her life at 10am on April 16th, 2022 at Agape Funeral Chapel and Crematory with Reverend Brooks Morton Officiating.

Sherri would say her #1 quality was being a good mother, but she was truly a strength and inspiration to many in her day to day life and in her will to survive.  Sherri enjoyed a long, successful career in banking and was an expert seamstress, turning that passion into a hobby that kept her quite busy after retirement.  Whether she was working on her latest quilt, children’s apparel, or her husband’s business logos, you could often find her tucked away in her craft room, with her dogs never too far from her side.  When she wasn’t crafting, she was spending her time doting over her husband, 4 children, 5 grandchildren and many beloved pets from over the years.  She will be deeply missed by all.

Sherri is survived by her adoring husband of 26 years, Jay Temple.  Sister, Ruthann Frausto of Austin.  Proud mother of Ken Bratz of San Diego, Rhonda Peck of Dallas and Ashley Temple and Kenny Temple of Lubbock.  Loving grandmother and “Gigi” to her grandchildren, Cameron and Kyle Bratz and Ryder, Dawson and Harper Peck.
