Paul Eugene Plummer III

Paul Eugene Plummer III passed away on November 29th, 2020 due to an acute episode of pneumonia. Paul was born December 31st, 1944 in Dodge City, KS to Paul Eugene Plummer Jr.  and Leaura Mae Lewison Plummer. He graduated from Stanton County High School and received a degree from Southwestern College in Winfield, KS. He then faithfully served our country in the Navy from 1968-1971. Later he earned a dual degree in Mathematics and  Psychology from Panhandle State University which he used for 15 years to serve clients of Ozark Guidance Center in Springdale, AR.  

Paul married Alice Marie McCray on January 24th, 1970 in Johnson, KS at the First United Methodist Church. He is survived by three daughters: Heather Lea Plummer, husband Brian and son Matthew of Kansas City, MO: Chandra Plummer Slusser, husband Benny and children Kaela, Marnie, Alanna, Charlee and Ben of Spring Branch, TX: Rana Plummer Coons, husband  Mark and children Tori, Drue, Cade and Clara and great grandson Jax of New Deal, TX. Paul is survived by his mother Leaura Mae Lewison of Johnson, KS and sister Deb Plummer and life time family friend Cindy Wittebort of Franktown, CO. He was preceded in death by his father Paul Eugene Plummer Jr., and both maternal and paternal grandparents.  

Paul was a loving son, brother, dad, and papa. He had a servant’s heart and was always willing to help anyone in need. He enjoyed singing and playing musical instruments, fishing and being  outdoors. He always had a smile on his face and brought love and laughter everywhere he went. Most of all, Paul loved Jesus and his family. He left a legacy of love and faith and will be  missed greatly by all who were blessed to know him.
