Oneta Boller

Oneta (Durham) Boller, age 96, went home to be with the Lord on December 23, 2019 surrounded by family.

Oneta was born in Plainview, TX March 28, 1923 to C.O. Durham and Mamie (Reed) Durham, she married the love of her life, Wayne Boller on May 5, 1941 and they had 31 wonderful years together until his death in 1972.  After his death, she began working at the Lubbock Club in January 1974 and worked there for many years being lovingly known as “Miss Oneta” to her co-workers and the many people she served over the years.

Oneta was the loving mother of Barbara Patterson of Commerce, TX, Charlene Coker of Smyer, TX, Charles (Sheila) Boller of Lubbock, TX and Allene (Mike) Abbe of Lubbock, TX. She is also survived by a sister, Lois (Alvis) Stevens of Levelland, TX, 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a granddaughter Rae Ann Patterson, sisters Mary Ellen Perry and Alice Mae Brunson and a son-in-law Irvin R. Patterson.

Visitation will be at Agape Funeral Chapel on Thursday, January 2nd, 2020 at 5pm. Graveside services will be Friday, January 3rd, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, family requests a donation to your church's missionary fund.
