Michael Avara Obituary

Michael Alexander Avara (56) went home to be with the Lord on September 21, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Theodore Avara and Betty Ann Bradshaw. He was also preceded in death by his stepbrother Charles Bishop.

Michael was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas and graduated from Sunset International Bible Institute. With a servant's heart, He worked at the Lubbock State Supported Living Center caring for the disabled. Mike had a great love of God, his family and his work. He appreciated life and showed kindness for children and animals. He was a blessing to all the people whose lives he touched. He was a great son, brother, cousin, uncle, nephew and friend. He was loved very much and will be truly missed.

He is survived by his stepsisters, Sally Charlene Wolgast and Ronda Jones (Philip Jones)
