Marian Weaver Obituary

Marian Oletia (Oleta) Stein Weaver was born February 5, 1948 at her grandparents, Maude and Fred Stein’s home in Mason, IL and passed away August 13, 2021 at her home in Lubbock, TX.

She loved her family and animals. She did lots of different jobs in her life, her favorite being pet sitting.

She married James R. L. Weaver December 4, 1965.

She is survived by her husband James; son Jody (Denise); grandsons Trenton, Jarrod and Brandon (Jessica); granddaughters Alexis and Natasha (Austin); great grandsons Jaxson and Matthew; great granddaughter Moana; several brothers and sisters and her cats Willie and Miranda.

She was preceded in death by her son, James; her parents; grandparents; brother, Leland and great granddaughter Kaylee Jo.

A private family burial will be held at a later date. Assisting the family during this time is Agapé Funeral Chapel, Lubbock, TX.

The family would prefer that memorials go to an animal shelter near you versus sending flowers in remembrance of Marian.
