It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kimberly Joye Cole.
Kim was born on March 15, 1965, in Danbury Connecticut, to Richard and Joye Hager.
Soon after, the family moved to Houston, Texas where she spent most of her childhood. When Kim was in junior high school, the family moved to Odessa, Texas. While living there, Kim attended Bowie Junior High and graduated from Odessa High School. Kim played the piano and enjoyed being at home with her family.
She helped her parents run Ollies restaurant in Winwood Mall in Odessa. She also worked for Timesaver
Wholesale Foods. Kim lived in the Ft. Worth area and worked for Kaizer Permanente and in Hobbs, NM
where she worked for the Lea County Road Department. She made many dear friends along the way.
Kim enjoyed keeping in touch with her friends and extended family through the phone and Facebook.
She loved her daughter, Alisha, and granddaughter, Keighley with all of her heart.
She is survived by her daughter, Alisha Cole of Lubbock, TX; granddaughter Keighley Lewis, sister and
husband, Paula and Benjamin Harrison of Chandler, TX; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Joye Gooch Hager; father, Richard C. Hager; and brother,
Richard C. Hager.
A memorial service for Kim is planned for Saturday, November 25, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist
Church, 220 N. B St., Yale, OK 74085.
