JERROLD CRAIG PEDERSEN
Jerrold Pedersen, 76, of Amarillo died Tuesday March 7, 2023, in Lubbock 10 days before his 77th birthday.
Jerry was born in Ames, Iowa to Norman ( Whitey ) Pedersen and Marjorie ( Lindebak )Pedersen. He was a 1964 graduate of Ames High School where he graduated 8th in his class of about 400. He joined the army in 1965 and served for three years.
Jerrold worked for Todd and Sargent, now Sargent Engineering, in Ames, Iowa building feed mills and concrete grain storage facilities. He was skilled in sheet metal, aluminum fabrication and welding. He taught school in Iowa for a time. Jerrold was a life master in duplicate bridge and a solid believer in his Savior, Christ Jesus.
Survivors include one brother, Ron Pedersen and his wife Anne of Lubbock, 4 nieces, 1 nephew and 5 grand nieces and nephews. Jerrold was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Mark.
