James Patrick Hayes

James Patrick "Pat" Hayes graduated from Coronado High School in 1972 and he went on to study the art of jewelry design and repair for two years in Roswell, New Mexico. He worked at Anderson Brothers Jewelers for most of his career and other various jewelers. He had a passion for all things Volkswagon and NHRA drag racing. He was a gentle and colorful soul, please feel free to wear your brightest colors. 

He is survived by his wife Lora "Kershman" Hayes of Lubbock, son Justin Hayes of Austin, stepson Cody Kershman and wife Amanda of Lubbock, four nieces and two nephews, two grandchildren and three stepgrandchildren, sister Linda Chowdry of Friday Harbor in the San Juan Islands, brother Bill Hayes and wife Connie of Lubbock as well as a large host of family and friends.

Memorial for Pat Hayes will be on November 13th at 2PM at Agape Funeral Chapel.
