Hortencia Melgoza

Hortencia Melgoza, 65, went to be with our Lord and Savior on March 11, 2021.  Hortencia was born to the late Domingo and Soledad Salaz in Lubbock, Texas on February 24, 1956. She married Manuel H. Melgoza on March 24, 1978 in Austin, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Lubbock and was a loving wife and mother to her three sons.  Hortenica will be remembered by her three sons, two daughter in laws, ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild, Manuel Angel Melgoza his wife, M'Randa Melgoza and their children Angel Melgoza, Laney Rose Melgoza, Neviah Melgoza, Synovia Melgoza and Pristina Melgoza. Julian Melgoza and his children, Jul Moreno and her husband Nick Moreno and their son, Xavier Manuel Moreno and Junior Melgoza. Max Melgoza his wife, Maria Melgoza and their children, Natalie Melgoza, Kieth Melgoza and Jazlyn Melgoza.  Also left to cherish her memory are her two sisters, Lupe Gutierrez and Mary Lopez. She is preceded in death by her husband, both her Mother,  Father, three brothers, Roberto Salaz, David Salaz and Domingo Salaz Junior and her two daughters that past at birth. Services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Lubbock, Texas on Monday March 22, 2021 at 12 p.m
