Garrett Bryce Black, 37, of Lubbock, Texas, passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 11, 2023. He was born on February 16, 1986, to Steve and Laura Black. Garrett attended Lubbock schools, graduating from Lubbock High School in 2004. He attended South Plains College and Texas Tech.
Garrett worked most of his adult life in cell phone and computer technology, sales, and service. He was a soft-hearted man with a generous and loving spirit. His dedication to helping others was evident in the way he lived and loved.
Survivors include his love, Stephanie Apolinar; sons Brycen Black and Grayson Black; mother and stepfather, Laura and Louis Warren; father Steve Black; and Stephanie’s boys Kayden and Kody. Garrett is also survived by several beloved nieces and nephews, as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Garrett was preceded in death by his big brother, Trevor Reid Black.
A Celebration of Life for Garrett will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 18, at Ransom Canyon Fellowship Church, 5412 Ransom Road, Ransom Canyon, Texas.
Arrangements are under the direction of Agape Chapel and Crematory in Lubbock.
