Felipe Ybarra

Services for Felipé Ybarra, 63, of Lubbock, Texas will be at 11 AM Friday, July 30, 2021 at Agape Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Jake Maxwell officiating.

Visitations will be 5 PM to 7 PM Thursday, July 29, 2021 and from 9 AM to 11 AM Friday, July 30, 2021 at Agape Funeral Chapel.

Felipé died on Saturday, July 24, 2021 in Lubbock Texas.  He was born October 14, 1957 in Lubbock, Texas to Paulo and Elida (Esquivel) Ybarra.

He enjoyed doing construction and made a career out of the commercial and heavy construction industries - which made him a hard worker all his working life.

He was an artist in many mediums from drawing to painting, to artistic woodworking.
He enjoyed rock and roll music, classic Chevy muscle cars, shooting pool, watching his Detroit Lions, having a Budweiser, and spending time with friends and family. He treasured his faithful companion Cabrón.

He is survived by his sisters Ernestina “Tina” Ford, Mary “Ida” Martinez & brother-in-law Lupe Martinez, Belinda Borjas and brother-in-law Danny Borjas, and his brother Cristobal “Chris” Ybarra & brother-in-law Ron Boyd, his daughter-in-law Samantha Ybarra, his grandchildren Rebecca Ybarra and Marcos Ybarra, numerous nieces & nephews and great nieces & great nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his son, Mark Anthony Ybarra.
