Eugene Harriel Williams

Eugene “Gene” Williams passed away January 24, 2023 at the age of 95. He was a
veteran of World War II where he served in the Navy. He was the son of Lela and
Lynn Williams, of Anton, Texas both deceased. He was preceded in death by his
wife Winifred Johnson Williams and is survived by a sister Bonnie Stephens and
husband Miles, of Littlefield, Texas and a brother Cecil Williams of Brownfield,
Texas. He also had another brother Rex Williams and sister Evelyn Shockley, both
deceased. Other family include: daughter Jeannetta “Jeanne” Williams and
husband David Whitlock, of Denton, Texas. Two grandchildren, Arron Comeaux
and Nycole Comeaux and three granddaughters Mei, Aida and Gabriella.
Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 28th at 11am at Wayne Baptist
Church, 5505 Wayne Ave, Lubbock, Texas.
