Obituary
Elizabeth “Eli” Sara Oropeza Torrico, 58, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2023, in Lubbock, Texas. She was born January 27, 1965, to Abdon and Sara (Torrico) Oropeza in Cochabamba, Bolivia, South America. She was a graduate of Monterey High School and earned a flight attendant certificate from the International Aviation & Travel Academy of Arlington. She worked as a Medicare case worker for thirteen years. Elizabeth was a Christian and attended SouthCrest Baptist Church.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, Abdon and Sara Oropeza. Those remaining to cherish her memories is her daughter, Brittany Lawrence and husband, Ian of Lubbock; granddaughter, Elowyn Lawrence; brother, Ricardo Oropeza and wife, Laura of Lubbock; sister, Patricia Delacruz and husband, Carlos of North Carolina; sister, Sandra Villa and husband, Enrique of Plainview; nieces and nephews, Lacie, Adrian and Micah Oropeza; Christian, Noah and Nadia Delacruz; Analisa, Andres, Adan and Abram Villa.
Celebration of Life service will be held at:

Saturday, August 12, at 11 a.m.
