Obituary

Dorothy Dee Norman Looney was born September 14, 1928, in Monroe (New Deal), Texas to Erby Dee and Era Exum Norman.

She married the love of her life, Marvin Albert Looney, November 21, 1947 (74 years). They have 5 children, Norman Looney, John Looney and wife Cindy, Tim Looney and wife Teri, Michael Looney and wife Jamie, and Teresa Masten and husband Larry. They have 24 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. She had 2 brothers and 1 sister.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, her parents, 2 brothers, 1 sister, and her grandson, Timmy Paul.

After high school, she worked for Ma Bell Telephone Company. She was a lifelong wife, mother and grandmother but more importantly, she was a light for Jesus everywhere she went. She and Marvin spent a year in Dominica as missionaries. Her greatest desire was for everyone to come to know Jesus as their personal Savior.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, July 13th at 2:00pm at Center Community Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Center Community Church or to Samaritan's Purse.
