Donny Seals

Donny Mack Seals, 71, of Lubbock, formerly of Celeste, passed away peacefully on Wednesday December 01, 2021, at his home.  Donny was born in Wolfe City, TX on August 25, 1950, the son of Arthur Leonard Seals and Beulah Leona Quick Seals.  

Donny is survived by his 5 children, son, Chad Seals and wife, Cassie of Leonard, TX; Spencer Deaton of Lubbock, TX; daughter, Autumn Corn and husband, Jarret of Plains, TX; Sterling Justus and wife Neely of Lubbock, TX; and Chisum Justus and wife, Daniela of Lubbock, TX.  He was “Papa Donny & DonDon” to his grandchildren Eric & Cash Seals; Tucker, Knox, & Lathe Corn; and Piper & Parker Justus.  He is also survived by his brothers, Glynn Seals and wife, Diana of Marble Falls, TX; Roger Seals and wife, Dawn of Celeste, TX, his sisters, Marie Tandy and husband, John of Greenville, TX; Louise Schillinger and husband, John of Celeste, TX; Edna McCutcheon and husband, Don of Pottsboro, TX; Reba Blissette of Ruidoso, NM. He is also survived by his loyal companions, Pack and Tiko.

Donny was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Beulah Seals, His sister, Leona Rozell, his brothers, Jerry and Jack Seals, as well as his grandson, Drake Justus. 

Donny loved being outdoors, barbequing, and spending time with his family. He had an infectious laugh and had the ability to make everyone smile with his incredible sense of humor. Donny never met a stranger and was the jack-of-all-trades.  He will be greatly missed by all whom knew and loved him. 

A memorial will be planned for a future date.
