Donna Pearson

Donna Pearson departed on her final journey on Tuesday March 16, 2021. 

Donna was born in Lubbock, Texas on July 21, 1956 to Billy and Edrie Ledbetter. 

Donna was the supervising phlebotomist for Grace Clinic, and after being there for thirty-years  was considered family to many of her co-workers. She often joked that she was not a phlebotomist, but instead an undercover vampire.

Donna was a loving wife, and wonderful mother to Jeremy and Donovan, but being a grandmother was what she often called her greatest achievement. There were no limits to the love she had to give to her children and grandchildren, and the love her and Mark shared was a once in a lifetime type of love, they were soulmates. 

Donna was a lover of music, her river home, and carrying on family traditions. Donna was a proud retired “hippie” and was a true beacon of spreading love and peace to those around her. Donna had many lifelong friends that were more like sisters to her that she held close to her heart. 

She and her granddaughter were active members of the Reading Between the Wines book club, and she passed down her love of Stephen King and Anne Rice for years to come. 

Donna is survived by her son Donovan, his wife Caitlin, a daughter in-love Sally, 6 grandchildren, Valerie, Nathaniel, Atticus, Emma, Everleigh, and Hudson and one great-grandson, Zeylium. Survivors also include her little brother Randy. 

Donna is preceded in death by her husband, Mark, son Jeremy, and daughter Stephanie, as well as her brother Ricky, and parents Billy and Edrie Ledbetter. 

She will be missed by all, BUT LOVE LIVES ON. 

Celebration of life will be on Saturday, March 20, at the Municipal Garden and Arts center in the Cultural Hall at 1:30.
