Don Appling Obituary

Don Paul Appling was born 9/7/1958 in Garden City KS and passed away 2/12/2020 N Lubbock TX. Don was never married & never had any children. Don is survived by his sister Nancy C Appling and her two children. BigD was very handsome, popular, and athletic in high school, he then went to college on a golf scholarship. After college he helped run his dads Lumber yard at Sunflower Lumber. Don was a strong Christian man who loved 1970’s retro. He will be dearly missed as he joins his brother Gary, his dad Pat and his mother Verna in Gods Kingdom. BigD’s ashes will be buried at Englewood Cemetery in Slaton TX on May 5, 2020 at 2pm.
