Obituary

Danny grew up in Sweetwater, TX and graduated from Sweetwater High in 1966.  He attended Cisco Junior College and Texas Tech University. 

 

He married Linda (Teston) Mounce on August 21,1969 and they have lived in Lubbock their entire married life.

 

He was a musician, an artist and an amateur comedian. He loved his pontoon boat and fishing with his friend and neighbor, Bernie Tackitt.

 

Survivors include his spouse Linda; Brother, Gerald Mounce (Sharon) of Spring, TX;  Brother-in-Law, Jimmy Teston (Betty), of San Angelo, TX; Sisters-in-Law, Lois Mounce,of Bedford,TX;  and Carolyn Mounce, of Houston,TX.  Nephews: Jarett, Teston, Randy, Mike and Jay Mounce. Nieces: Stacy Drury and Becky Harmon; and his precious fur babies, Bella and Ginny.

 

He is preceded in death by his infant son, Christopher Alan Mounce; his Parents, Brothers, Harold Mounce and Norman Mounce.

 

Danny's favorite charity is St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
