Craig McMahan Obituary

Craig McMahan was born May 10th 1978 in Lubbock, Texas and passed on April the 3rd 2023 he was 44 years old. Craig was a proud graduate of Lubbock Cooper High School class of 1996. Craig entered the Marine Corp delayed entry program in high school where he proudly trained until a medical discharge kept him from following in his father's footsteps. Craig later graduated from Wayland Baptist University. Craig worked for Texas Tech for almost 20 years doing what he loved, working on computers as an IT specialist. Craig's recent quests landed him at Tyler Technologies where he worked as an IT support specialist.

Craig loved spending time with his two boys Conor and Aiden and his two beloved dogs, Dude and Chewy. Craig was always willing to lend a hand to help someone out and that showed during the Pandemic when he rebuilt laptops for people of the community to work from home or do homework. Craig loved his family and extended family and if you knew him you were family.

Craig is survived by his sons, Conor and Aiden McMahan of Lubbock. His mother Ann McMahan of Bolivar, TN. His birth mother Kim Mann and her husband Gilbert of Midwest City, OK, Grandmother Donna Carroll of Lubbock. He also leaves behind his brothers, Cory McMahan and his wife Cheryl, Doug Allison, Tony Stafford, Chris Stafford and his wife Amy, Jeff McMahan and sister Kim Jordan and husband Patrick. He also leaves his ex-wife Mika Beal along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his father A.K. "Bud" McMahan and his grandfather Donny Carroll.

A memorial will be held on Monday April 17th, 2023 from 10 am to 12pm at Monterey Church of Christ located at 6111 82nd Street. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Craig's name to your local Mental Health Charity Organization.
