She was born September 25, 1956 in Brownfield, Texas, to Don and Doris Fleming of Loop, Texas.  She passed away on February 10, 2023, after a lengthy illness.  Claren was the middle child of four siblings.
She was a 1975 graduate of Seminole High School.  Following her graduation, years later, she married Kenneth Patterson of Houston, Texas, the father of her children.  Though this relationship wasn't permanent, they did have two children together, Kristi and Koby Patterson.  Years later while living in Lubbock she met Scott Nesbitt, whom she later married.  They did not have any children together.
She was a member of the Church of Christ.  She was known for her love of singing, fishing, camping, and living life to the fullest with her family and friends.  She was the life of any party.  She worked as an assistant manager for an apartment complex, assembly line worker at National Linen, lead med aid, cook, and would sing and entertain the residents at Mackenzie House for several years.  She also worked for Lubbock ISD for several years as a paraproffesional.  She was truly a gifted person when it came to taking care of the elderly and children with special needs.  Always willing to help anyone who couldn't help themself.  She loved her children unconditionally and family was everything to her.
She is preceded in death by her children's father Kenneth Patterson and her former husband Scott Nesbitt.  She is survived by her children Kristi and Koby Patterson, Oklahoma; brother, Marshall Fleming and Sandra , Midland; sister, Paula Oswalt; and sister Terri McClure and Ray McClure, all of Lubbock.
Grandchild: Joshua Karr
                                        John 3:16

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
