Christy Huffaker

Christy Huffaker passed on April 11th, 2020 in Lubbock Texas. She was born on July 20th,1971 in Shreveport Louisana to Sandra Owen. 

She found her soulmate, Douglas Huffaker, in September 2003 and they were married on February 9th, 2004. She loved being a wife, mother and grandmother. Christy worked as a waitress but most of all loved her kids.

Christy is survived by her husband Douglas, her six children Bobby Hurt, Sonya Hurt, Joshua Hurt, Stacey Hurt, Amber Gonzales and Stephanie Hurt in Lubbock; one brother, Randy Owen of Lubbock and sixteen grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her mother Sandra Hairgrove and sister Stacey Owen.

Services for Christy will be held at a private residence in Lubbock on May 2nd 2020 at 3 PM with Douglas Huffaker officiating.
