Obituary
Chad Collins went to meet his Heavenly Father on Friday, June 30, 2023. Chad was born in Lubbock, TX
on July 11, 1974. He attended Lubbock-Cooper High School and graduated in 1992. Chad had a love for
stock shows, farming, and his family. He leaves behind a son, Ky Collins of Lubbock, daughter J’Lynne
Collins of Sulphur Springs, Mom Judy Hunley and stepdad Sam Hunley of Lubbock, his dad Eddie Collins
of Lubbock, sister Monica Stewart and husband Sam of Lubbock, nephews Bode and Kwade Stewart and
Neice Addie Stewart of Lubbock, a very special Aunt Kathy, sister Elizabeth Hunley, brother Sammy
Hunley, Jackie Collins and her children Brent Ratliff, Wayne Weeks, Lance Ratliff, and Stacy Havens,
many aunts, uncles, and cousins. And lastly his companion Tipsy. He was preceded in death by his sister,
Rhonda Hunley.
Memorial service to be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at 10 am at First Church of the
Nazarene in Lubbock.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations in Chad’s name be made to the Prodigal Church
