Service for Dan “Boone” Smith, 73, of Lubbock will be held at 11 on Friday September 2nd 2022. David Savage will Officiate. He died on August 31, 2022. He was born in Roswell, New Mexico on February 12, 1949 to parents Oscar and Hazel Smith. He is survived by his children, Daniel Smith, Mike Smith, Meredith Martin, and Kim Anderson and, grandchildren, Noah Martin, Brady Smith, Gannon Smith, Khael Smith, Weston Smith, Kennedy Smith and Finely Smith, sisters Meryl, Gayle and Janet. Preceded in death his mother Hazel, Father Oscar, and brother’s Terry and Butch.
