Brent Hall

H. Brent Hall, 67, was born August 2,1956, in Childress, Texas to Volis Jr. and Faynell Hall. He received his wings and was guided home February 27, 2024, in Lubbock, Texas.

Brent attended Wilson Elementary School in Childress through the first grade upon which the family moved to Plainview, Texas. He then attended Plainview schools where eventually graduated from Plainview High School in 1974. In high school, he had a fun passion for rodeoing and bull riding. After high school, Brent briefly attended West Texas State University in Canyon before eventually moving to Levelland, Texas where he became a firefighter. He worked several years as a firefighter and EMT before he moved to Franklin, Tennessee. In Franklin, Brent started working in the flooring business where he found his true passion and continued to do business in the flooring industry for the next 48 years. In this time he made contact with nearly everyone in the flooring industry in the West Texas region. Brent never met a stranger and had a way of making everyone feel like they were his best friend. He was most recently employed by Griggs Carpet and truly enjoyed his interactions with his co-workers and customers. Outside of work, Brent was an avid NASCAR fan and a true Pit Master. He loved cooking out for his family and friends which was very obvious from the many different types of grills in his backyard. Brent may have been a pitmaster, but the true flame in his life was spent with his forever love, Tamara, who he shared 30 beautiful years with.

He is survived by his loving wife, Tamara, mother Faynell, brother Lynn Hall of Lubbock, sister Renee Pelfry and husband Russ, of Texas City, his son Chandler Hall and wife Megan, of College Grove, TN, daughter Tanda Turpin of Lubbock, son William Turpin and wife Corinne, of Tucumcari, NM and son Jonathan Brits and husband Ruan, of La Plata, MD. Brent had a special way with children and loved them all dearly especially his grandchildren which he is survived by 13, and with one on the way, as well as many other nieces and nephews. Brent is also survived by 2 special people he considered his bonus sisters and they are Tanya Meadows and Victoria Braun.

Viewing for family and friends will be Thursday March 7, 2024 from 5 to 7 pm at Agape Funeral Chapel in Lubbock, TX. Funeral services will be Friday March 8, 2024 at 11 am and will also be held at Agape. Graveside services will be in held in Plainview at Parklawn Memorial Gardens immediately following the services.
