Services for Betty Jean Perdue, 76 of Slaton will be Saturday December 18, 2021 at 12:00pm at Idalou Church of Christ at 307 Chestnut St, Idalou, Texas, with Jeff Cary officiating. Burial will be prior to service on Saturday, December 18 at 10:00am at Levelland Cemetery at 1498 Ave H, Levelland, Texas.
Betty passed on December 13, 2021. She was born June 21, 1945, in San Angelo, Texas
Betty was a hard worker who never complained about work, she did what needed to be done. Betty loved gardening, canning, cooking, and football. When the kids were young, she would spend most summer days canning from the garden. She spent most of her work career at Payless Cashway but retired from Bowman Lumber. After retirement her favorite past time was spent playing fantasy football with her son and watching the Dallas Cowboys.
Preceded in death by her dad and mom, Morgan and Opal Hightower; sisters: Ida Hampl, Evelyn Day, Linda Largent, and brother Harvey Hightower; husband, Ronnie Perdue, son Bill Cody Brown Jr, and daughter-n-law Donna Brown.
Survivors include Annette (Mark Perdue), Dana Brown, Billy Brown (Kim), Travis Brown, Brenda Williams and Ronny Stroud, Dana (Ricky Walters); Grandchildren, Crystal, Bucky, Victoria, Elisha, Karissa, Holly, Brian, Nathan, Kacey, Chelsie, Dustin, Meagan, and Ashlyn, and 19 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
