Betty Lee Kidd

Services for Betty Lee Kidd, 85, of Lubbock will be at 11:00 AM Saturday November 12th at
Southside Church of Christ with Tommy Hicks officiating. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM at
Lamesa Memorial Park.
Betty went to be with the Lord on November 5, 2022. She was born in O’Donnell, and had
been a Lubbock resident since 1965. She married Marvell Kidd on December 21, 1953. Betty was
a devoted homemaker and mother of 5. She was a member of the American Red Cross and a
active member of Southside Church of Christ.
Survivors include Wanda Deen of Mansfield, Cindy Smith of Weatherford, David Kidd of
Lubbock, Steve Kidd of Lone Oak, and Dennis Kidd of Lubbock.
Three sisters, Peggy Kosloskie of Lubbock, Julia DeBusk of Abilene, and Debbie Lamprecht
of Waco.
She was a doting Grandma Betty to 13 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 1 great great
granddaughter.
Preceded in death by her parents, Jake and Eileen Burkett, her husband Marvell, and one
grandson, Charles Allen Smith.
Family suggests memorials to American Red Cross.
