Amanda Jane Tarver

Amanda “Jane” Tarver, 73, of Lubbock, passed away Tuesday, August 16th, 2022, at University Medical Center in Lubbock. Jane was born November 24, 1948, in Odessa to John Middleton and Estelle Middleton (Crow). Jane was a high school graduate of Odessa High and graduated college from Angelo State University in San Angelo. Jane received a teaching certificate from Lubbock Christian University.  Jane was a schoolteacher at Hodges Elementary school in Lubbock. In retirement Jane spent her time with her grandchildren. Jane is survived by her husband James Daniel Tarver; son Zach Tarver and wife Amber of Lubbock; grandchildren, Zander and Alicia Tarver; daughter Elizabeth Tarver, grandchildren Kegan, Jax, Owen and John Luke Hill. Jane will have a memorial service at South Plains Church of Christ 6802 Elkhart, Ave Lubbock, Saturday, August 27th at noon.
