Winnie Mitchell Obituary Services for Winnie "Jean" Mitchell, 82, of Lubbock, Texas, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, 2011, at King's Ridge Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Resthaven Cemetery. She died on September 19, 2011 Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, 2011, at Agape Funeral Chapel. Jean was born Nov. 11, 1928, in Walters, Okla. She married Billy E. Mitchell on Dec. 30, 1945. Jean was a wonderful homemaker and loved to be with her family. She is survived by her husband, Bill; sons, Randy and Mike Mitchell; daughter, Pamela Mitchell; sister, Kathryn Hucks; and brother, Venoy Allen, all of Lubbock, Texas. Also surviving are Jimmy Allen, brother, of Hobart, Okla., and Billy Allen, brother, of Anchorage, Alaska. She was a loved and cherished "Mema" by her grandchildren, Brandon Mitchell, Alicia Matthews, Tiffany Spano and Samantha Mitchell, and great-grandchildren, Ally Spano, and Madison and Sadie Mitchell.
