William Kimmons Obituary William Eugene Kimmons (Pete) was born March 16, 1937 in Pensacola, Florida. On October 27, 1956 he married Joyce Marie Bartlett. Joyce was the love of his life. Together they raised 6 children. Dixie and Ken Mull of Wolfforth, Lora and Derue Southerland of Lubbock, Gina and Bobby Tripp of Cadiz, Kentucky, Tina Whitfield of Wolfforth, Carla and Alvin Hill of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, and Bo and Catina Kimmons of Lubbock. He has 18 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren, plus 1 on the way. Pete is proceeded in death by his father, William Emmanuel Kimmons, his mother Myrtle Pippen, and 1 brother and 3 sisters. Pete is survived by his wife Joyce, his 6 children, and all his grand children and great-grand children and 1 brother, Kenneth Kimmons. Pete loved his family and taught them what family actually is. He also taught them a great work ethic. Pete has worked in construction and running doughnut shops. Pete's true love was the open road as a truck driver. The memorial will be March 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Lubbock Baptist Temple, 3215 60th St. Lubbock, TX. Services
