William Crites Obituary William L. Crites, age 71, passed away peacefully at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas on Friday, November 23, 2018 after a lengthy illness. Bill proudly served in the U.S. Army 1st Airborne Calve. He served two terms in Vietnam and was honorably discharged in 1973. Bill married Margaret Fagan on May 4, 1968 and had three sons, Ed, Rodney, and Stephen. Bill worked for Dean Hagler as a superintendent paint contractor from the early 1970's until his retirement in 2014. He will be remembered by his brother Lee (wife Jan) Crites, sister Lota Crites all of Lubbock, three sons Ed (wife Debbie), Rodney (wife Lynda) of Lubbock, and Stephen (wife Brandy) of Midland, and five grandchildren, Allison, Christofer, Micaela, Matthew, and Emily all of Lubbock. Bill is preceded in death by his parents Ed and Ila Fay Crites, two sister's Linda Miller and Vivian Winiger and significant other Cindy McFarland. Services will be held Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 1:30 pm at West Kentucky Baptist Church, 1507 W. Kentucky Ave., Midland, Texas. Services
