Weldon Glenn Obituary Funeral services for Weldon Thomas Glenn, 78 of Levelland, Texas, will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 20, 2014, at the Ropes Methodist Church. He passed away at Wilshire on 4th Assisted Living Facility on December 16, 2014, surrounded by his family. Weldon was born May 17, 1936, in Levelland. He graduated from Ropes High School in 1954. He was an electronics technician before he started farming in 1961. He was an accomplished marksman, ham radio operator, inventor, and grill master. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Dorothy; three daughters: Angela Glenn of Missouri City, Texas; Andrea Cavitt and husband Steve of Ropesville; Anita Mead and husband David of Lubbock; 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; his brother Melvin Glenn and wife Glynda of Ropesville; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Fulton and Frances Macha Glenn; step-mother, Jewel Cunningham Glenn; sister, Carolyn Glenn Zbonski; and brother, Donald Glenn.
