Vivian Wittie Obituary Vivian J. Wittie 86, of Lubbock passed away Saturday Nov. 3, 2012. She was born Jan. 8, 1926 in Greenville, TX. She married Herman Wittie on Sept. 18, 1943. They were married for 59 years before he passed away Jan. 10, 2002. Vivian spent her working years as a nurse. She is survived by two brothers Albert and Edgar Melton; four sons; Randall and wife Belinda of Galt, CA; Royce and wife Diane of Wolfforth; Arlice and wife Judy of Monahans; and Carliss Wittie of Lubbock; seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 am Wednesday Nov. 7, 2012 at 1st Baptist Church Shallowater with Mitch Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Levelland. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm at Agape Funeral Chapel on Tuesday Nov. 6. In lieu of flowers the family wishes that donations be made in Vivian's name to 1st Baptist Church Shallowater.
