Vivian Hargrove Obituary Vivian Marie Granny Hargrove, 75 of Lubbock Texas, passed away peacefully in her sleep in the early morning hours of Sunday, April 30th 2017. Vivian was born in Lamar County on July 1st 1941 to parents James David Coffman and Annie Kathryn Wilson. Granny had two sisters Rosemary Coffman Busby and Rebecca Coffman Clark and two brothers James David Coffman Jr. and Barney Waters Coffman. Vivian graduated from Monterey High School in Lubbock Texas in 1959. After graduation she met and married the love of her life, John Cornelius Hargrove, and they remained married for 50 wonderful years. Vivian and John have four children, John Hargrove of Waco Texas, Perry Hargrove of Lubbock Texas, Davey Hargrove of Lubbock Texas, and Mary Hargrove of Lubbock Texas. They also have 6 grandchildren: April, Timithy, John Jr, Clayton, Shannon, and Alyssa as well as 13 great grandchildren. Granny was a wonderful person and because of her love of helping people, she had a long and rewarding career at the Department of Human Services. Upon retirement she was able to spend more time with her loving family. Vivian was preceded in death by her husband John, daughter Mary, parents James and Annie, and siblings Barney, James, and Rosemary. A memorial service will be held for Vivian at Agape Funeral Chapel on Friday May 5th at 2pm. Granny will be greatly missed by anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Services
