Velna Shepler Obituary Velna Ruth Shepler, 66, died Wednesday, October 28th, 2015. She was born February 6th, 1949 in Providence RI. Mrs. Shepler moved to San Diego when she was 13 and married her husband of 47 years when she was 19. Velna always volunteered at her church and The Samaritan Center, in Mandeville, LA. She loved the Lord, people, all music, laughing and had such a heart for helping others. She was like a mom to everyone. Velna loved being a wife, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Shepler is survived by her husband, Glen; two daughters, Joy Shepler and Kira Lamkin; one granddaughter, Layla Layla Bee; one brother, Victor Gibeault and wife Katherine; sisters in law, Jane Smith and husband Mike, Nancy Knudson, Linda Clark, and Jo Anne Reeder; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Saturday, October 31st, 2015 at 10:00AM at Agape Funeral Chapel with services following at 11:00AM. Services
