Vanessa Castro Obituary Vanessa Castro went to be with our Lord on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 6:25 am, at University Medical Center in Lubbock. Her Aunt Toni Horton was with her at the end and heard her call out, excitedly, to her mother who passed just last year in April. We know she is celebrating her reunion with her mother and father and other departed family members, as well as, of course, with her Savior, Jesus Christ . She was 45 years old and engaged to be married to the love of her life, Jeff Tumlinson. Vanessa was the kind of person who made you smile anytime you were near her. She was feisty and funny, and her light shone so brightly! We loved Vanessa so very much and can't begin to express how much we already miss her. Please pray for our grieving family members, and please say a special prayer for her fiancé, Jeff Tumlinson.
