Ramsey
Feb 12, 1997 — Oct 25, 2025
Tristan Ramsey Obituary Tristan Paul Ramsey, beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away on October 25, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and love that will never be forgotten. Tristan had a way of making everyone feel special. His laughter could fill a room, his hugs could heal the heaviest days, and his kindness knew no limits. He gave so freely of himself, his time, his love, his joy, never asking for anything in return. If you knew Tristan, you knew what it meant to be cared for without condition. His loyal German Shepherd, Willie, was his constant companion and best friend. The two were inseparable, a perfect pair of love and loyalty. Tristan had a curious mind and a gentle soul. He loved getting lost in a good book, where imagination and adventure felt endless. His passion for Magic: The Gathering and Dungeons & Dragons reflected that same spirit: creative, strategic, and full of heart. These games also reflected another big part of Tristan. Everyone was welcome, and you could always find a friend. Whether he was reading, rolling dice with friends, or sharing stories late into the night, Tristan brought warmth and laughter wherever he went. He also loved movies, especially those that sparked his imagination or made him laugh. He had a way of turning even an ordinary night into something special just by being there. Tristan believed everyone deserved a seat at the table. It didn't matter if you were different or unique; you could find a friend in him. Tristan was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Dennis and Janet Ramsey; his maternal grandfather, Coy Cook; and his maternal great-grandparents, Dale and Ethelynn Zant. He is survived by his parents, Brett and T'auna Ramsey; his brother, Kincade, and wife, Kami, and their daughter, Winslow Ramsey; his sister, Zona, and husband, Cameron Mitchell; his grandmother, Karen Cook; his aunt and uncle, Maranda and Rick Ribera; his aunt and uncle, Kathleen and Greg Ramsey; and his aunt and uncle, Lindy and Scott Ramsey. Services for Tristan will be held at the LFR Union Hall, 8517 Urbana Ave., Lubbock, TX 79424, on October 30, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Camp Blue Haven, your local school library, your regional blood bank, or through physical donations to your local animal shelter. Although Tristan left this life too soon, the legacy he leaves behind is one of love, acceptance, and kindness. Forever our son, our brother, our friend. Forever loved. Services
