Toressa Hightower Obituary Toressa Darnell Hightower was born in Lubbock, Texas, on October 6th, 1962, to David and Vera Hightower. Toressa was baptized at an early age and attended the Parkway Drive Church of Christ for many years, until her health began to fail. Toressa graduated from the Methodist/Covenant School of Nursing and began working as a nurse in 1986. She worked at Lakeside, Women and Children's Hospital and helped to deliver many children to proud parents until she retired. Toressa was preceded in death by her parents, David and Vera Hightower and one brother, David Hightower Jr. She leaves to mourn her loss, 2 sisters: LaRhonda Norris (Orlin) of Lubbock and MiShane Hightower of Round Rock; 2 nieces: Anchestonique Norris of Lubbock and Shazay Johnson (Ty) of Oklahoma; great nephews/niece: Dasmine Riggins, Ares Johnson, and Paxton Riggins and a host of relatives and friends. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday October 23rd 2025, at the Resthaven Mausoleum chapel from 6-8 p.m. Services
