He also enjoyed woodworking, finding fulfillment in creating with his hands. He loved animals and had a gentle appreciation for their companionship. Music of all kinds was also a source of enjoyment for him, and he appreciated the many ways music could bring comfort, memory, and happiness. Family meant everything to Thomas, and he will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Brenda Peters, of the home; his daughter, Kristin Peters, of Lubbock; his son, Thomas Peters, Jr. and wife Myriam, of Lubbock; his two grandchildren, Gavin Hamlin and Delilah Faison; and a half brother who lives in Clovis, New Mexico. He cherished his family and took great pride in the lives of those closest to him. His love and presence will remain in the hearts of his family for years to come. Thomas will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He lived a life of purpose and quiet strength, and he leaves behind a lasting example of dedication, faith, and love. A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 P.M.
