Sue Dodd Obituary Sue Layne Brown Dodd died on Sunday, June 30, 2013. She was born on May 10, 1944, in Memphis, Texas. Sue loved animals, especially cats. She couldn't let a stray cat walk by without providing food. She graduated from North Harris County Jr. College in Houston, Texas with a degree in nursing. She worked as a charge nurse at Tomball Hospital. She also was employed at the Memphis Convalescent Center and the Memphis Hospital. She is proceeded in death by her father, Arthur Hugh Brown of Amarillo; and her mother, Bette Katherine Callahan Brown, of Memphis. She is survived by her son, Willard Wade Dodd, of Colorado Springs, Colorado and her daughter, Kari Wynn Dodd Willis of Lubbock, Texas She is also survived by four granddaughters of Lubbock, Austin, and East Texas, and numerous loving cousins in Memphis. She went to be with the Lord very peacefully, after a long illness, at the Odyssey Hospice of Lubbock. There will be no services per Sue Dodd's request.
