Stuart Cobb Obituary Stuart Logan Cobb passed from this life Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at his home, in Buffalo Springs; after a long, and courageous, battle with MS, . He was born into this life Wednesday, July 30, 1952 to Gene Stuart and Geraldine (Lamb) Cobb in Los Angeles, CA. Cobb grew up in Lubbock and graduated from Monterey High School in 1970. After high school, He traveled around, playing bass guitar in various bands. After several years of living in Santa Fe, NM, where he specialized in southwestern tile and brick work, he returned to Lubbock to attend Texas Tech University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Cobb resided, for over 25 years, at his home in Buffalo Springs; where, with great determination, he lived independently with his disability for as long as possible. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Cobb was preceded in death by his father, Gene Cobb. He is survived by his mother Geraldine Cobb and his sisters Shirley Wigley and Marlene Kenady of Lubbock, Texas; his daughter Erin Cone of Santa Fe, NM; and many good friends. A memorial service, to commemorate Cobb's 61 years of life, is scheduled for 3:00 P.M., Saturday, June 7, 2014 at his home in Buffalo Springs.
