Sherrye Banister Obituary Sherrye Banister passed from this life Monday, January 21, 2013, on the 20th anniversary of her beloved father, Kenneth McCallister. Sherrye was born into this life Thursday, December 21, 1950 to Kenneth and Catherine (Miller) McCallister in Lubbock, TX. She attended Idalou High School; and won State Competition in track. Sherrye attended Ranger College, where she obtained her degree as a Licensed Vocational Nurse. Sherrye enjoyed fishing, dancing, riding dirt bikes (#1in State!), and water skiing. She was an amazing cook and loved to bake pies and cookies. Sherrye was well loved by her family and friends. We know she is smiling and at peace with Jesus, Dad, and Mamaw and Papaw Mack. God Bless. Sherrye was preceded in death by father, Kenneth McCallister. She is survived by her Husband, of 21 years ,Wink Banister,;Daughter Michelle Harlan and fiancee Steven McDaniel, Son, Blake Sescil & Jamie King; Son - Kyle Sescil and Marissa Sescil; Sister - Telena and Charles Moster; mother, Catherine McCallister; brother Randy and Jana McCallister; 14 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and her beloved puppy "Baby Girl" and "Buddy" - the cat. The family will hold a memorial service, to celebrate Sherrye's 62 years of life, at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, January 26, 2013, at 4812 1st Place, Lubbock. Arrangements were entrusted to Agape Funeral Chapel Lubbock, TX.
