Sabrina McKinney Obituary Sabrina Brina Maxine Easterwood McKinney, 42, of Lubbock passed away on Saturday evening, November 7, 2015. She was born on October 6, 1973, in Hobbs, New Mexico. Sabrina spent her childhood years in Ozona until the family moved to Lamesa. She was involved in numerous activities as a child, her favorite being gymnastics. Sabrina graduated from Lamesa High School in 1992. She received an Associates Degree from Howard College and went on to practice as an LVN caring for elderly and disabled patients up until her passing. The patients she cared for expressed deep affection for Sabrina. Sabrina was preceded in death by her father Doyle West Easterwood, grandfather Doyle Ward Easterwood, and grandparents Harold R. and Josephine Henderson. Survivors include her two beautiful children, Trevor R. McKinney of Dublin and Shayla C. McKinney of Lamesa; parents Jimmy and Nikki Dunn of Lamesa; brothers and sisters-in law Chris and Terri Anne Dunn of Edenton, N.C., Bryon and Rachel Dunn of Odessa; sisters and brothers-in-law Michael and Amy Reyna of Cedar Park, Jason and Rayanna Hicks of Sterling City, and Jack and Mitzi Cheek of Lubbock; and her grandmother Johnnie Mae Easterwood of Cedar Park; niece and nephews and a large extended family. True to her profession, Sabrina was loving and caring to those around her. She was an avid reader and a movie buff. Her favorite band was always Poison, a 1980s rock group. Memorial Service for Sabrina will be held at 1:30 pm, Friday, November 13, at the Lamesa First Baptist Church. The viewing will be at Agape Funeral Chapel in Lubbock from 5:00 7:00 pm that evening.
