Ross Jones Obituary Ross T. Jones passed from this life Thursday, March 14, 2013, in Lubbock, Texas. He was born into this life Thursday, October 1, 1959 to Stafford and Betty (Slaton) Jones in Lubbock, Texas. Ross was the grandson of C.E. Slaton; City of Lubbock mayor 1938-1944. Ross married Amy Anderson on May 17, 2007; he was the proud father of son Charles Patrick Patterson. Ross was employed with Sodexo for 18 years as an HVAC Technician. He enjoyed hunting at "The Ranch" and a cold beer with good friends. Ross was the proud owner of every car he ever owned as well as a red boat. Ross was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Carl Jones. He is survived by his wife Amy Jones; a son Pat; a brother Gene; and other family and numerous friends A memorial service, to celebrate Ross' 53 years of life, is scheduled for 11:00 A.M., Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Agape Funeral Chapel, Lubbock, with Chaplain Nick Taylor officiating.
