Ronald
Hatch
Dec 6, 1946 — Jul 15, 2026
Ronald "Ronnie" Hatch, born on December 6, 1946, in Plainview, Texas, passed away on July 15, 2026, leaving behind a life marked by hard work, perseverance, and a deep appreciation for family and agriculture.
Ronnie's early years were shaped by his family's business, Crestline Distributors. It was there that he developed a lifelong love for agriculture and the opportunities it provided. That passion led him into raising and selling chickens, roosters, turkeys, peas, and homemade pies throughout West Texas and the Texas Panhandle. He found great satisfaction in working the land and took pride in serving the many communities and customers he came to know over the years.
In addition to his agricultural pursuits, Ronnie briefly owned and operated a mortuary before ultimately returning to the agricultural work that had always been closest to his heart. He was a man who was very entrepreneurial, embraced a simple way of life, and found fulfillment in providing for himself and those he loved.
Ronnie also had a lifelong enjoyment of Westerns, appreciating their stories of grit, resilience, and the enduring spirit of the American West. Whether working outdoors or relaxing with a favorite classic, he found joy in the simple things.
He is survived by his son, Scott Hatch, and Scott's wife, Sarah; and by his three beloved grandchildren, Braedan, Tatum, and Charleigh. Ronnie loved his family deeply and took great pride in watching his grandchildren grow. Though life presented its share of challenges, his love for his family remained constant.
A Celebration of Life honoring Ronald "Ronnie" Hatch will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at Agape Funeral Chapel, with his son, Pastor Scott Hatch, officiating.
