Bobby was a veteran of the U.S. Military serving both in the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy. Bobby was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Jean Billie and his father, Robert L. Young Sr., also two brothers, George Young and Mike Young. Bobby is survived by one son, Robert (Bobby) L. Young III; four brothers, Johnny and Roger Young, and Tommy and Tony Billie all of Lubbock.
